The 1st Hungarian International Tournaments1. Name of Event1st Hungarian International Soft Tennis Tournaments 2. Organized by: Hungarian Soft Tennis Association (HSTA) 3. Nature of event An official international event acknowledged by the International Soft Tennis Federation and the European Soft Tennis Association as well. 4. Managed by: Hungarian International Tournaments Organization Committee / HITOC / 5. Date of event: August 18-22, 2005. Opening ceremony: August 19, 2005.09.00 a.m. 6. Place: Budapest, Hungary Competition Venue: GRAND SLAM PARK Address: 1111 Budapest, Kapolcs utca 2/a Courts: 5 outdoor clay courts. 7. Accommodation: IBS Hotel, Hotel Wien, Hotel Budapest 8. Kinds of events: Individual doubles for men and women Individual singles for men and women Individual mixed doubles 9. Event Schedule - August 18, 2005 (Thursday) - arrival to Budapest, transfer to the Tennis Club, training the entire day - August 19, 2005 (Friday) - Opening Ceremony, individual doubles for men and women. - August 20, 2005 (Saturday) - Individual singles for men and women. - August 21, 2005 (Sunday) - Individual mixed doubles, Commendation Ceremony, Banquet. - August 22, 2005 (Monday) - Transfer to the airport , Departure day 10. Eligibility Participating players shall be those who have been approved by those respective national soft tennis federations which are invited to participate at the event. All ISTF member countries are invited to enter. Entries for competitions shall be made for players recommended by the invited national federations and be applied by the respective national federation. There will be no any limit of number for players, and not even for the team leaders. Total entry fee will be EUR 200,-/ person for four days which covers accommodation, meals (at the places designated by HITOC) for four days. Transportation between Budapest airport and the hotels mentioned in the above 8. and transportation between the above hotels and the courts will be arranged by HITOC. Hungary as host country can enter an unlimited number of players. Acceptance or rejection of invitation shall be made no later than April 30, 2005, which will be considered a pre entry. Entries by name of players shall be made before June 15, 2005. Entries shall be accepted on a designated entry form with names, sex, the dates of birth, and others as required of the participating players. The entry form is attached with this Guide. The entry via fax shall also be acceptable. In the case of the entry of more than one / 1 / participant for the same one event from the same one national federation, the player's list for entry shall be arranged in the order of their ranking among them. Any change in the entry after the deadline date of entry shall not be accepted. 11. Rules and Regulations for Competitions Competition shall be conducted in accordance with the effective Rules of Soft Tennis of ISTF. The official language shall be English. A tournament system shall be applied for matches of doubles, singles, and mixed doubles. Double and mixed double matches shall be played by a best of nine games system, single matches shall be played by a best of seven games system. 12. Draw A draw shall be decided in a fair manner by the HITOC, considering the world ranking. 13. Conditions for Participation Participating team members of respective countries shall fulfill the conditions of respective items as under mentioned. Players shall abide by the rules and regulations of ISTF and behave based on sportsmanship and in an orderly manner. Players shall observe directions of a host federation regarding their whereabouts and behaviors during the term of the event. In case of any of them need to behave otherwise than specified as above , the player shall be obliged to submit the detailed information, such as schedule , whereabouts and purposes of their travel or others, to a host federation and obtain it's permission in advance. Uniforms, shoes, and other attire to be used for competition shall be those made for Soft Tennis. Rackets to be used for competitions shall conform to the specifications specified in the Rules of Soft Tennis of ISTF. Commercial displays on players uniform is not limited. Balls to be used shall be those produced by Nagase KENKO . The first, second and third place winners shall be commended by cups in the event. 14. All the competition officials shall be designated by HITOC. 15. World Ranking Point The world ranking system shall be applicable to the event/s/where the number of participants satisfied the conditions provided in the world ranking system. In this regard, the applicable event /s/ shall be announced to the participants prior to the tournaments. 16. The official sponsors of the competitions shall be decided by HSTA.
